La Ronda Hostel Verified

La Ronda Hostel is a recently, renovated two-story building in the historic center of Tegucigalpa, that maintains the charm of the original layout, structural design and woodwork. We serve as a backpacker’s hostel and traveling hub for Honduras, located in the Historic City Center of Tegucigalpa; right at the outset of one of the famous arteries, Avenida Máximo Jerez, named after the Nicaraguan leader who fought to organize Central America. It is situated in “Barrio La Ronda”, one of the oldest colonial settlements; and lays within an historical area, which captures the era and atmosphere of olden times, a blend of tradition and modernity.

Right in the heart of the historical center of the city, Hostel La Ronda can be the starting point for walking tours in all directions; where you will have the opportunity to turn the needles of time to a place in history that will take you back 436 years, which is how old Tegucigalpa is; a mining town which was known as Teguzgalpa and named Real de las Minas de San Miguel de Tegucigalpa in 1578.
